My journey started long before I launched Wildflower Women. The idea for Sandbox Kids actually took root two years earlier, inspired by my own experiences as a new mother. Watching my young boys play in a sandbox, I had a moment of clarity: every parent has their own “sandbox kid”—a sandy-toed, curious child eager to explore the world. This image of carefree, adventurous children is the essence of what makes Sandbox Kids so special.

With Sandbox Kids, my goal is to create pieces that feel truly special. Each item reflects the same sense of whimsy, fun, and style-forwardness that defines the Wildflower Women brand. From infancy through womanhood, I want Wildflower Women & Sandbox Kids to guide you through every stage of life, celebrating individuality at each turn.

When I designed Sandbox Kids, I drew inspiration from European, particularly Parisian and French styles. The Mayoral brand, with its luxurious and whimsical designs, embodies the attention to detail and quality that I strive for in the store. Alongside Mayoral, curated lines like Playup, Kickee Pants, Angel Dear, and more, capture the spirit of adventure and confidence that I believe is so important for children today.

In 2024, we opened our first standalone Sandbox Kids location, just a few doors down from one of our parent stores. This new space is a dream come true-a place where children can experience the magic of fashion in an environment designed just for them. Every detail of our local kids clothing store has been thoughtfully curated to spark joy and inspire creativity, making shopping an adventure for both kids and parents alike.

My hope is that every “little” who walks into Sandbox Kids feels inspired and excited. I invite you to try on new things, be playful, and explore without limitations. Don’t get stuck in a social box—let the world see what makes you unique.
